Photographer Vincent Versace said, "We came to photography because the world moves us in such a way that we want to photograph what we see so others can be moved the way we were." And so it was for me.

Beauty was all around, and I had not the skills with a sketch book & pencil, or paint brush & canvas, to capture what I saw. The angle of a building standing tall against the sun, the giggle of a child that is so palpable you can see it on not only their face, but the face and demeanor of those around them, the softening expression as the groom, filled with love, sees his bride for the first time, rain, soft & shiny on the leaf fallen from the tree -- all of these things and more were begging to be captured even if only for my personal enjoyment.

It is my intention as a photographer to capture those moments of beauty for others, so that they can be forever reminded of the joy, the silly laughter, the oh-so-sweet-don't-ever-want-to-forget moments of their lives.
